Rabbi Simcha Zissel Ziv:

Comfort can't be a spiritual goal. Imagine you're on a ladder. Would you want to be asleep?

My Christmas- Friends

This year at Christmas my three children with their spouces are going to spend time together again after 4 years. And I take care of the 2 big dogs who are left behind. Every day I walk with them each apart, 2 x. This morning Tombi, the Labrador was following the nature aside the street, in the bushes. A car was driving our way slowly. Then suddenly Tombi jumped towards the turning wheels! The car stopped immediately and I called "Tombi!". Tombi wasn/t shocked at all, no emotions.
Then I walked with Jazzie, the Irish Setter. Lisa told me several times; not to let him go; for he doesn't listen and doesn't come back anyhow. It happened before and he was lost during almost 2 hours. So, I was quite alert!! And then suddenly, I had the leash in my hand, and Jazzie had the necklage around the head, but was free and run as fast as possible. I called him back with the most loveliest voice; he stopped and looked back, and then crossed the street. Coming towards my direction, so I crossed also the street. But Jazzie run towards the crosspoint to and fro and I whistled and he noticed! And came back towards me. I could see, he liked to be together again. Freedom without limits isn't easy because there are to many choices.

Philosopher Levian: (Totalitee et infini)

“When I look in a relationship for the aim of that relationship,
at that moment I have released myself from that relationship”.
Ex.; A lady is wondering the aim she would like to have reached with her husband:
At that moment she has stept out the relationship.
Look together in the relationship for aims / the aim.

Ladies' Christmas Tea.

There was a great meeting with more than 160 women in our church.
When arriving there we, like the Queen, had to walk over the red carpet, between 2 silver coloured stands connected by white cords! Entering our coats were taken, and we got a number, for returning the right coat. Inside a young man lead me to the dining table # 2 with 5 women around. And about 20 men were serving us. They welcomed us with a nice song!
All the round tables had silver candlesticks with about 5 candles. Each table had its own waiter.
And several performances were given; as a song, a mime, and a dance on the music of “The Young Messiah”. At the end a lady addressed us about being “the beloved in Christ Jesus”. And at the moment we invite Jesus in our life , the Spirit of the Lord becomes alive in us.There will be a dimension of live more than before.
A great treat for us women, who are always focussed on the other one in comforting, affirming and supporting .

TV ??.

It surprises me that more and more young people between 25 and 40 years don't have a TV at home. I asked them if they had a PC. Some had, but in the top of the house just for mailing. "What are you doing in the evenings?" And the answers were: reading, talking with their spouse, playing games, sporting and studying. Having no TV helps to let all the turmoil settle down in this 'merry-go-round' world. In my childhood there was no TV in the homes.

The Lord's Majesty.

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the works of His hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.

They have no speech, there are no words;
no sound is heard from them.

Yet their proclamation goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

The teaching of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.
Who can discern his errors? forgive my hidden faults.
Keep Your servant also from willful sins;may they not rule over me.
May the words of my mouth and the meditiation of my heart
be pleasing in Your sight, o Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

I am eating a little more. Because Kim saw me growing thin on a photo. At the same time I got food from the foodbank with special things I never ate.didn't know how to prepare:So a little bread with herbs inside I put under the grill in the microwave.After that the bread was so hard!! I thought; it might become soft, when I switsch on the microwave.No grill at that moment.Then I went to the balcony, doing some work there and came back; A bad smell!! And still the smell is there in the kitchen;the day after.The bread was burned and I had to throw it away. The microwave is still working; how lucky I am!!

"Alpha"-course

During a little 3 months I have to cook for 20 persons, with another person together.Every week. So we weekly we meet to discuss what to cook and then we buy all the ingredients, and at monday we prepare salads, cook all kind of foods and also we serve delicious things after dinner. After dinner the people hear about faith, what it means, who is God, why Jesus, and what about the Holy Spirit, is the Bible true, baptism and Gods enemy, the devil.Then they can drink tea and coffee, and in small group discuss the subject.Besides the cooking part and cleaning, I join the discussion-groups also.the "Alpha"-course are international, all over the world and also all over theNetherlands.After the course, the people can choose for nothing, to see it only as the information, or choose for joining a Christian community.

Swinging flags

Our community “Sefanja” had a special evening for women on which we could choose for a workshop in music/singing, or creativity, or dance or waving flags. It was a wonderful evening and we met also new women. We had a lot of fun. I myself choose for waving flags on music.
’We will lift up our banners in the name of our God!’
We also had to move: going forward and backward and then side wards. And the flags had to be moved to and fro, but also over our head. I enjoyed it!

You created my inmost being;You knit me together in my mother's womb.
when I was woven together Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.

My name

Ananga is the summary of my name Anna Andringa.
In the past I was called Annie. But since Christmas 2005 I changed my name into Anna. This is the Greek version of the Hebrew name 'Hannah', which means: 'grace, 'favorite' and 'delightful'. It also reminds me to make my attitudes similar to the name.

My first blog

I've just started my first blog with help of my eldest son August. I came to the idea through my niece Vera, who also has a weblog. She is a tremendous author, like Douglas, my son in law at Vancouver Island. I am not a specific author myself, but I like to share precious pronounciations of extraordinary people. Or something from books, I read. I love languages and know about 7 or 8 different ones. Some languages I know better than others.
