Rabbi Simcha Zissel Ziv:

Comfort can't be a spiritual goal. Imagine you're on a ladder. Would you want to be asleep?

My Christmas- Friends

This year at Christmas my three children with their spouces are going to spend time together again after 4 years. And I take care of the 2 big dogs who are left behind. Every day I walk with them each apart, 2 x. This morning Tombi, the Labrador was following the nature aside the street, in the bushes. A car was driving our way slowly. Then suddenly Tombi jumped towards the turning wheels! The car stopped immediately and I called "Tombi!". Tombi wasn/t shocked at all, no emotions.
Then I walked with Jazzie, the Irish Setter. Lisa told me several times; not to let him go; for he doesn't listen and doesn't come back anyhow. It happened before and he was lost during almost 2 hours. So, I was quite alert!! And then suddenly, I had the leash in my hand, and Jazzie had the necklage around the head, but was free and run as fast as possible. I called him back with the most loveliest voice; he stopped and looked back, and then crossed the street. Coming towards my direction, so I crossed also the street. But Jazzie run towards the crosspoint to and fro and I whistled and he noticed! And came back towards me. I could see, he liked to be together again. Freedom without limits isn't easy because there are to many choices.

Philosopher Levian: (Totalitee et infini)

“When I look in a relationship for the aim of that relationship,
at that moment I have released myself from that relationship”.
Ex.; A lady is wondering the aim she would like to have reached with her husband:
At that moment she has stept out the relationship.
Look together in the relationship for aims / the aim.

Ladies' Christmas Tea.

There was a great meeting with more than 160 women in our church.
When arriving there we, like the Queen, had to walk over the red carpet, between 2 silver coloured stands connected by white cords! Entering our coats were taken, and we got a number, for returning the right coat. Inside a young man lead me to the dining table # 2 with 5 women around. And about 20 men were serving us. They welcomed us with a nice song!
All the round tables had silver candlesticks with about 5 candles. Each table had its own waiter.
And several performances were given; as a song, a mime, and a dance on the music of “The Young Messiah”. At the end a lady addressed us about being “the beloved in Christ Jesus”. And at the moment we invite Jesus in our life , the Spirit of the Lord becomes alive in us.There will be a dimension of live more than before.
A great treat for us women, who are always focussed on the other one in comforting, affirming and supporting .

TV ??.

It surprises me that more and more young people between 25 and 40 years don't have a TV at home. I asked them if they had a PC. Some had, but in the top of the house just for mailing. "What are you doing in the evenings?" And the answers were: reading, talking with their spouse, playing games, sporting and studying. Having no TV helps to let all the turmoil settle down in this 'merry-go-round' world. In my childhood there was no TV in the homes.
