My name
Ananga is the summary of my name Anna Andringa.
In the past I was called Annie. But since Christmas 2005 I changed my name into Anna. This is the Greek version of the Hebrew name 'Hannah', which means: 'grace, 'favorite' and 'delightful'. It also reminds me to make my attitudes similar to the name.

History;
More than 18 years I lived in Frysland and afterwards another
18 years in the other parts of the Netherlands. In the next 14 years I emigrated to St. Martin, (Dutch Antilles), came back for 8 years and then was called to the South of China, where I stayed several years. Now back in homeland I am doing volunteers work.

My first blog

I've just started my first blog with help of my eldest son August. I came to the idea through my niece Vera, who also has a weblog. She is a tremendous author, like Douglas, my son in law at Vancouver Island. I am not a specific author myself, but I like to share precious pronounciations of extraordinary people. Or something from books, I read. I love languages and know about 7 or 8 different ones. Some languages I know better than others.
